Sony Announce Sale On PSOne Titles…And It’s Quite Good Stuff

Following E3 2013, we now find ourselves in the slow countdown period for the release of the PS4 this Winter, and Sony has decided to make that wait a bit more bearable by celebrating the history of the original PlayStation/PSX/PSOne. Alongside a publicity drive on Twitter (#PlaystationMemories – some of the tweets people are sending in are pleasantly nostalgic), they are running a sale on the PlayStation Store discounting some of the greatest games that ever appeared on the loveable old grey lump of plastic and metal.

Not bad eh? No Final Fantasy titles, but we can’t ask for everything I guess. Out of that list, I would heavily recommend picking up the trilogy bundles for Resident Evil and Spyro, and for £2 you can’t go wrong with the likes of CTR and Rayman 2. Remember, these games are playable on the Vita – if you have one, I suggest you invest in the sale to make your commutes much more fun. Keep your eyes peeled for similar sales on PS2 and PS3 titles over the coming weeks.
